Exporting & sharing

Once your demo is polished in the Studio, export it and share it anywhere. DemoBites gives you multiple distribution options, from a simple MP4 download to your public Update Center and Explore Center.

Export to MP4

Click “Export” in the Demo Studio to render a production-quality 1920×1080 MP4 video. The export includes all your edits: narration, zoom effects, captions, background music, and branded intro/outro.

Export takes 30 to 90 seconds depending on video length.
You'll get a notification when the export is ready.
Download the MP4 directly to your computer.
Use the MP4 anywhere, presentations, social media, help articles, internal comms.

Hosted player link

Every exported demo gets a hosted player page, a branded, responsive video player with your workspace design (colors, fonts, logo).

Player page features

  • Custom slug URLs (e.g., your-domain.com/product-tour)
  • Workspace branding applied automatically
  • Language switcher for multi-language demos
  • Responsive design, works on desktop and mobile
  • Optional custom domain support

Embed player

Embed the demo player directly in your website, help center, or documentation using an iframe snippet. The embed code is available from the demo’s sharing options.

HTML
<iframe
  src="https://stream.demobites.com/your-workspace/your-bite/e"
  width="100%"
  height="450"
  frameborder="0"
  allow="autoplay; fullscreen"
></iframe>

The embed is responsive by default. The player adapts to the container width and maintains the correct aspect ratio.

Publish to your centers

The primary homes for your demos are your workspace’s two public centers, both publishable on every plan:

Update Center

Publish the demo as part of a release on your Update Center, your public “what’s new” home. Releases get pages of their own, and the Latest feed carries a rolling stream of smaller updates.

Explore Center

Feature the demo on your Explore Center, your public demo-video surface, with a playlist player, per-video pages, and demo-request and signup CTAs built in.

Add to Hubs

Group related demos into a Hub, a branded collection that serves as an onboarding portal, product-tour library, or help center. Add your demo to an existing Hub or create a new one from the demo’s sharing options.

Add to Pulse

Surface your demo directly inside your product using In-app Pulse, the embeddable “what’s new” widget that mirrors your Update Center. Add the demo to a Pulse feed from the Pulse editor in the dashboard.

Add as a Moment

Attach the demo to any word or element on your own site as a Moment, readers hover to see a GIF preview and click to watch the full demo, without leaving the page. Open the Moment configurator from the target (⊙) icon on the demo card or the Moment button in the Studio.

Re-exporting

Made a change in the Studio? Just export again. Each export creates a new version. Hosted player links and embeds automatically serve the latest version, no need to update URLs or embed codes.

Tip: your centers, Hubs, and Pulse feeds also reflect the latest export automatically. Update the demo, re-export, and every distribution point gets the new version, zero manual updates.
