What is the Update Center?

The Update Center is your public “what’s new” home — a hosted page where customers and prospects see everything you ship, told with polished bites instead of plain-text changelog entries.

Overview

Every release you publish becomes a page of its own, with its own URL. Smaller updates go into the Latest feed — a rolling stream that doesn’t need a dedicated page. Around both, the Update Center gives visitors a calendar of what shipped, site search, tag filters, and a quick thumbs-up or thumbs-down on every update.

You publish from the DemoBites dashboard; the public page updates immediately. There is nothing to deploy and nothing to maintain — the Update Center is hosted for you on your workspace’s public URL or your own custom domain.

What visitors see

A typical Update Center: a spotlight hero up top, release cards below, and a calendar that maps everything you’ve shipped to the day it went out.

Key features

Everything a modern release-communication surface needs, out of the box:

Releases as pages

Every release gets a full page with its own URL — easy to share, link from support replies, and find in search.

The Latest feed

A rolling feed for smaller updates that don't need a page of their own. Publish in seconds, no page required.

Release calendar

A one- or two-month calendar shows what shipped and when, so visitors can browse your momentum at a glance.

Search & tag filters

Site search plus tag filters let visitors jump straight to the updates they care about.

Feedback thumbs

Every update carries a thumbs-up / thumbs-down, giving you a lightweight read on how each release lands.

Spotlight heroes

Lead a release with a rendered Spotlight video as its hero for launches that deserve the spotlight.

Your public URL

Every workspace has a public URL based on its slug, and your Update Center lives there from the moment you publish. Renaming the slug sets up automatic 301 redirects, so links you’ve already shared keep working.

On Launch and above you can connect a custom domain, so the Update Center lives on your own domain instead of a DemoBites URL.

Who sees it

The Update Center is public — no login, no gate. Anyone with the link can browse it: customers checking what changed, prospects evaluating your pace of shipping, and search engines indexing your release history.

Subscribers

Visitors can subscribe on the page and get a release email when you broadcast one (Launch and above).

In-app Pulse

The same updates can reach users inside your product through the In-app Pulse widget (Grow and above).

Localization

On the Global plan, the Update Center is published in up to 8 extra languages with a language switcher.

Plan availability

The Update Center is publishable on every plan, including Free. On Free, public pages carry a quiet “Powered by DemoBites” pill in the bottom-right corner.
