Overview
Localization is a property of your public centers, not a separate product. When it’s on, your Explore Center and Update Center are published in each language you add, and visitors pick their language right on the page. One workspace, one set of content, many languages.
The primary language
Every workspace chooses a primary language once, at workspace creation, from nine options: English plus the eight languages listed below. The primary language drives everything downstream — transcription and voiceover for every recording you ingest, and the default language of your public surfaces. Ingestion asks zero questions because the workspace already knows its language.
Primary can be any of the nine
Your primary language doesn’t have to be English. A workspace can run German-first or Japanese-first, and localization then adds any of the other eight languages on top.

Together with English, these make up the nine languages a workspace can use as its primary. Localization adds up to 8 of them — whichever aren’t already your primary — to your Explore Center and Update Center.
How localized surfaces work
Localized centers aren’t translated on the fly in the browser. Each language version is baked as its own copy of the surface, ready to serve:
Baked per language
Every language gets its own pre-built version of the center — fast to load, crawlable by search engines, and free of client-side translation flicker.
Language switcher
Visitors switch languages directly on the public page. No separate links to manage — one center, served in the visitor's language.
Both centers, one setting
Localization covers the Explore Center and the Update Center together, so your whole public presence speaks the same languages.
Content language
The language of your content is never policed. The primary language tells the pipeline what to expect for transcription and voiceover — it doesn’t restrict what you can write or publish. If you want to publish content in a language DemoBites doesn’t list, nothing stops you.
Availability
Localization of the Demo & Update Centers is a Localization add on on Grow, included on Scale. Without it, your centers are published in your workspace’s primary language; the add on brings up to 8 extra languages on top.
