Enablement Center

The Enablement Center is the third center beside your Update Center and Explore Center: a gated place on our domain where employees, partners and resellers watch a briefing, a set of demos staged before or after they go live, behind a magic link. Managers see who watched what, and the briefing promotes to the Update Center when the version ships.

Overview

A release goes live and the internal story scatters: a document here, a video there, a thread nobody finishes. Enablement Center keeps the release you already built in DemoBites at the center and adds the machinery around it: an approved audience, a ship date, per person tracking, and follow up that runs itself.

It works on a briefing, a set of demos you stage in the Enablement Center before or after they go live. You decide which demos are required, who is assigned, and when the version ships. The cockpit shows the rest.

Turn it on

Enablement Center lives in workspace Settings. The card reads: your pages are open to everyone, turn it on to sign your teams in, see who watched what, and ship with everyone in sync. The switch is Turn on Enablement Center, and the access list behind it opens from Manage who’s in.

Turning it on opens your Enablement Center on our domain. The gate covers only that center: your Update Center, Explore Center and custom domain stay open.

Who is in

There is no allowlist to maintain. A person can enter while they are on an active assignment: they sign in with a magic link sent to the address you assigned, and the door closes again when the assignment is closed. The add on covers up to 100 unique participants across active assignments, so closing an assignment frees seats for the next one.

When you build an audience, the wizard counts the unique people across your active assignments and warns you before the hundredth seat, so nobody is assigned who cannot get in.

How viewers sign in

Viewers get a magic link by email, no password to create or remember. A link is valid for 15 minutes and works once; an expired link offers a resend from the sign in page. Once in, the session lasts 7 days. The sign in page answers the same way whether or not an address is on the access list, so the list cannot be probed from outside.

The release and its audience

Pick the briefing, assign it to up to 100 people, and set the ship date, today or later. Every demo on the release is required by default; mark a demo Optionalfrom the release studio and it stops blocking anyone. Optional viewing still counts toward a person’s Completion, it only stops blocking Ready.

Track readiness

A demo counts as watched at 95 percent of its length. A person is Ready when every required demo is watched. Until then they are Not started, In progress, or Behind, started but without activity for 5 days. The headline number is Completion, the average progress across the audience, next to how many people are Ready.

The cockpit gives you three cuts: By person, everyone in the audience with their status and progress; By demo, how many of the audience have watched each demo, with Optional ones marked; and the Activity log, the running record of views, completions, and every assignment and nudge sent.

Nudges and Autopilot

Nudge who’s behind sends a reminder to the groups you pick, Not started, Behind, In progress, or to specific people. Autopilot repeats it for you, every day, every 3 days, or weekly, with every 3 days as the default. It runs each day at 07:00 UTC while the ship date is ahead, and stops on ship day. Someone who is Ready belongs to no group, so they are never nudged.

Ship day

The ship date is a calendar date and can be moved to today or any later day, even after assignments go out; ships in N days counts whole days. On the ship date the release turns Shipped: reminders stop, and the readiness record stays for review and the next launch conversation. The By person table exports as a CSV.

What the gate covers

The Enablement Center is built for an approved audience, so it is not indexed and has no sitemap. Your public centers are untouched. Inside the Enablement Center, Download stays available.

Availability
